ClickFunnels vs Kajabi: Two Popular Online Business Builders Compared

Comparing ClickFunnels vs Kajabi

In this post I’m going to put two popular online business building softwares against each other and personally review them: ClickFunnels vs Kajabi.

I dove deep into each platform to uncover the good, the bad (and the ugly).

Within each platform I evaluated:

  • Cost/value
  • Templates
  • Easy of use
  • Integrations
  • Marketing capabilities
  • Course creation
  • Affiliate programs
  • Email automations
  • Customer support
  • and more…

So make sure to read this review until the end. That way you can make the best decision for you.

Product Overview

Before I get into the review itself, I want to quickly let you know some important info on each platform…

Because, when I started my business I didn’t really know what I needed. So I jumped on a Kajabi free trial. Overall, it was a solid platform and I was pretty happy with it. But I quickly realized that I needed the more advance that only came with a much more expensive Kajabi account…

To get those advanced features I switched over to ClickFunnels ‘Standard’ plan. This suited what my business needed better and I also saved myself some money on a subscription.

What is ClickFunnels?

ClickFunnels homepage overview

ClickFunnels is an A-Z sales funnels builder founded in 2014 by Russell Brunson and Todd Dickerson.

The goal of this software is to help you build beautiful sales funnels and to automate your marketing efforts. All without the hassle of having to learn coding or worry about becoming a master website developer.

But why sales funnels?

Well, because getting high quality leads into your business will help you stay in business.

Sales funnels are an essential part in creating buzz around your marketing campaigns and to get your leads to go in the direction you want…

Guiding the visitor through each step in a logical order, making sure that the visitor isn’t getting confused and leaves your page.

In simpler terms, an effective sales funnels spikes the attention of your target audience, educates them about your product or service, and urges them to make a beneficial buying decision. Leading to you maximizing the revenue from each lead.

ClickFunnels makes the daunting task of creating beautiful high converting sales funnels much, much easier.

And with over 100,000 users, it’s truly one of the more popular platform to date.

What is Kajabi

Kajabi homepage overview

Kajabi is an all-in-one business platform for entrepreneurs in the knowledge space. Their focus is to make it easy for you to build, market and sell your online courses, memberships sites, and coaching programs.

Just like with ClickFunnels, you don’t have to master the art of coding or worry about annoying plugins. Making it easy for you to learn and to get started with.

Kajabi CEO Kenny Rueter created a water-sprinkler toy over a decade ago. The kids loved it and he wanted them to be able to easily crate their own. However, he quickly found out that there wasn’t an easy way to sell his unique knowledge about this toy…

A light was lit and he got to work creating Kajabi.

It has gowns massively since that time. Nowadays Kajabi Heroes are selling their knowledge through a variety of digital products across the globe.

The numbers speak for itself, the Kajabi Heroes have sold digital goods for over $3 billion dollars and that number is only increasing.

Today there are more than 50,000 Kajabi Heros or people who use the platform to sell knowledge products.

This truly makes it a popular platform for turning your knowledge into a product that you can sell.

Major Differences

Before we get into the feature comparisons between Kajabi vs ClickFunnels, we first need to talk about some of the major differences.

The most obvious difference between them is that Kajabi is a all-in-on tool for building your online business. With it you can sell courses, create websites, do memberships, send emails, and much more.

ClickFunnels is also a all-in one business platform, but with the benefit of being able to build high-converting sales funnels in it as well. On this platform you can do webinars, sell physical or digital products, host membership sites, and more.

When talking about sales funnels, I’m talking about a series of pages specifically designed to guide a visitor from point A to point B. The soul purpose of having these pages organized in this way is to get a visitor to take the exact action you want. Whether that being subscribing to you list, buying a product, or registring for an event.

While Kajabi is great at building websites and landing pages, it lacks the features necessary to build effective high-converting sales funnels.

And since ClickFunnels has spend years trying to figure out the anatomy of a successful sales funnel, they’ve really perfected the art and has the data to back it up. All these years of research and development has led to a platform that lets anyone create a funnel that actually works.

The one thing that brings these platforms closer together is that, even though they are competitors, they work really well together.

Meaning that you can build your online business inside Kajabi and use ClickFunnels to actually generate leads and make sales or vice versa.

ClickFunnels vs Kajabi: Feature By Feature Comparison

To figure out which one of these platforms fit you business the best, I have hand picked out the features that I feel are the most important in a business tool.

Putting them head to head to figure out the similarities, differences and where each one really stands out.

Pricing

We’ll start this ClickFunnels vs Kajabi comparison of strong by looking at how fast they will drain your bank account.

Why pricing first?

Mostly because it’s an important aspect of whether you’ll be able to afford it and how much value you get for the money.

But before we start digging holes into wallets, let’s look at the cheaper free trials first.

Both Kajabi and ClickFunnels comes with a 14-day free trial, meaning you can try both platforms to its full capacity before paying a dime.

And if you don’t like it, you can end the trial on the spot with no questions asked.

How much does Kajabi cost?

  • 3 pipelines

  • 3 websites
  • 25 admin users
  • Code editor

How to save money on your Kajabi subscription

Is there a different method to save money on Kajabi vs how to do it in ClickFunnels?

No, not really. The principle is the same, switch to an annual plan and only pay the subscription fee once a year.

The benefit of this is that you get a 20% discount on your plan.

Now a ‘Basic’ plan costs $119 per month, a ‘Growth’ plan drops to $159 per month and the ‘Pro’ plan gets all the way down to $319 per month.

Design and Customization

ClickFunnels vs Kajabi design and customization elements

One important factor in choosing a business platform is how easy it is to use.

Believe it or not, but for most of us, its a deal breaker if you have to become a programmer to use it.

I bet that you, like me, wants a platform that is easy to learn and use. Because we want to sell our products not spend hours figuring out how to add a button without the whole page going nuts (you programmers know what I’m talking about).

When looking at Kajabi vs ClickFunnels we can see that both are really strong in this department.

Drag and drop editor

When building a sales funnel or landing page, we want it to be easy to customize, right?

Both ClickFunnels and Kajabi supports something called ‘Block’ editors, where you have sections, columns and elements to which you add your content.

However, they vary a bit in how you use them to build your pages.

ClickFunnels has a drag-and-drop editor, where you can customize anything you like. Simply choose an element, drag it to where you want it, drop it and then customize it.

The Kajabi editor on the other hand resembles something closer to WordPress in the way you build pages. Here you choose your elements or ‘block’ from the side menu, and builds out the page from there. You don’t drag it on to the screen like you do in ClickFunnels.

Both supports tons of different elements to suite even the pickiest of users. You can add buttons, headlines, countdowns, images, forms, and much more with ease.

Having worked with both of these kind of page builders, I personally feel like ClickFunnels drag-and-drop editor is the easiest one to master.

Themes and templates

One way to get starter with you funnel or website faster is to use a template or a theme.

Now you can save yourself the hassle of building everything from scratch.

Looking at ClickFunnels vs Kajabi you’ll see that both has gone the extra mile to provide you with good templates.

These themes and templates are all based on proven data and has been extensively tested to ensure good performance.

ClickFunnels templates

get 100+ templates from ClickFunnels

If you’ve never built a funnel before, the daunting task of getting everything right can be overwhelming.

ClickFunnels has thought of this and taken appropriate action to remedy this.

Their in-house design team have been busy creating over 100 done-for-you funnel templates for you to use in your next project.

Now funnel building becomes much easier, since most of the ‘heavy lifting’ has been done for you. The templates are all designed based on what has been proven to convert. So you know that no matter the template, they’ve all been tested for maximized conversion.

The real killer bonus here is that no matter what plan you choose, you always have access to this template library.

And considering that hiring someone to build a funnel can cost upwards of $1,000 and takes weeks to get done, this truly is a added benefit if you want to work with funnels.

Kajabi templates

Kajabi templates

Kajabi has also been hard at work developing templates to make your life easier.

They provide you with both basic and premium-designed landing page template for you to use in your next project.

Their landing page templates can serve as a starting point if you want to build…

  • Sales pages
  • Link in bio pages
  • Thank you and confirmation pages
  • Opt-in and lead capture pages
  • Coming soon pages

Kajabi also has something called website theme builder templates, which is similar to WordPress themes. The selection of themes however is smaller.

Never the less, they provide you with both basic and premium-designed theme templates to help you with the design of your website.

These themes will serve as a starting point of your website and they contain system-generated pages styled based of the theme you’ve selected. Keeping all of the pages congruent to make your site look even better.

Website Builder

As you already know, both ClickFunnels and Kajabi offers a robust set of templated for you to use with your website or funnel.

When looking at ClickFunnels you can quickly see that they doesn’t offer a traditional website builder. Since website templates aren’t supported, you’ll have to use funnels and connect those to create a website.

To build a website in ClickFunnels, you need to turn every page into some kind of funnel. Then rename the funnels to something like “contact us” and “about us”. The drawback is clear and it won’t autogenerate navigation menus on your site, forcing you to create a menu manually on each page.

But, if you have an existing website, then ClickFunnels is a great supplement to it. With the page builder being focused on funnels it does come with some nice functionality for that purpose.

And since ClickFunnels is providing you with over 100 templates and allows for full customization of the funnels, it can easily help to turn your website into a money making machine.

Even though it’s a funnel builder, they haven’t forgot some of the most important features of a website, like the use of SEO meta data, tracking codes, and custom CSS.

But you should have in mind that ClickFunnels isn’t a website builder at its core. Which makes it less intuitive for that purpose compared to other pure website builders.

Kajabi’s website builder

Kajabi as a website builder

If you are familiar with WordPress then you’ll quickly see that Kajabi’s website builder almost looks the same. This makes the website builder easy-to-use and just as versatile as the WordPress editor.

Each page is divided into sections, from which you can change any element, from the copy and fronts, to the color schemes and images.

I would even go out on a limb and say that the learning curve will be shorter since so many people these days are familiar with WordPress.

And if you want to create a home base for your online presence, Kajabi’s website builder makes it easy.

As you know they provide you with a verity of themes for you to choose from. They are fully customizable which makes it easy for you to edit them so they represent your brand in the best way while still being extremely compelling to the visitor.

Kajabi is also providing you with integrated website forms to help you convers your traffic into leads, helping you to grow your email list.

As you probably can see, Kajabi has the upper edge here vs ClickFunnels. Kajabi is clearly built with websites in mind and that’s what gives it its huge advantage here.

But what it gains in websites it lacks in sales funnels, so it all depends on what you want to use the platform for.

Sales Funnels

Okay, here’s the deal, sales funnels convert visitors better than websites. That’s just facts.

And ClickFunnels specialty is to help their members to build high-converting sales funnels – even if you’ve never built one before in your life.

They achieve this by providing their users with high quality templates that pretty much comes with a “high conversion rate” guarantee.

Also, when you compare Kajabi vs ClickFunnels sales funnel features, you’ll actually find quiet a few similarities between them.

Both offers their users one-click import pre-built funnels. So it doesn’t matter if you want to crate an opt-in page, sell your services, or host a webinar. They’ll guide you through the process step-by-step, relieving you of a lot of head scratching.

They also comes with “blank” templates, allowing you to unleash your inner creativity and build something 100% unique to you.

The biggest difference between ClickFunnels vs the Kajabi funnels is that Kajabi’s comes with pre written email sequences…which is a nice added bonus.

So now you also get professionally written emails for each step of your funnel. Then it’s up to you if you want to use them as is or if you want to use it as a guide for your own email copy (I recommend the last one).

While with ClickFunnels you’ll have to create the emails from scratch, which could be a bit of a hassle, especially if you aren’t used to writing.

Kajabi ‘Pipelines’

I touched on Kajabi’s funnel builder in the last section and just to make things clear, the funnel feature is called ‘Pipelines’ over at Kajabi.

Depending on what your business needs, you can generate several different pipeline blueprints. The blueprints are then fully customizable which allows you to change as much or as little as you want.

Kajabi has something called ‘OVO’ which stands for opt-in, value, offer. These pipelines are mostly used to drive conversions. The ‘OVO’ pipelines are intentionally designed to get a visitor to opt-in, provide value to them, and to clearly present your offer.

Now you might think that this ‘OVO’ thing is only for presenting your product, but no, you can use them for many other things like:

  • Freebies
  • Sales pages
  • Product launches
  • Zoom webinar
  • Free books
  • Coaching campaigns

The bottom line: Sales funnels are ClickFunnels home turf, and they do them exceptionally well. After all, it’s literally in their name. Sure, Kajabi’s ‘Pipelines’ can help you get a funnel up and running…

But, ClickFunnels is better at building funnels overall. Much like Kajabi is better at building websites.

Membership Sites and Course Creation

I’m going to be honest here, Kajabi is known for being one of the best platforms for creating and selling courses.

It doesn’t matter what you want to teach, Kajabi will help you through the process. With their platform you can create your course, host it, and promote it.

ClickFunnels bread and butter is still sales funnels, but you can also build membership sites within it.

Although ClickFunnels membership and course creator is much simpler vs Kajabi, it still gets the job done. You have all the necessities for teaching your knowledge on their platform as well.

ClickFunnels membership funnels

ClickFunnels comes with a built in feature for creating membership sites (funnels) and courses.

The membership funnel is available on all plans and supports unlimited amount of members vs Kajabi, who only supports 1,000 members on the ‘Basic’ plan.

Well, if we are being picky, ClickFunnels kind of limits itself on the ‘Standard’ plan where you only get 100 pages and 20 funnels. Since a membership site is counted as a funnel, you becomes a bit limited with only 20 of them until you need to upgrade your plan.

On the positive, ClickFunnels membership funnels is structured in the same way as a “normal” funnel. This means that you can do upsells, downsells and in-members-area sales with just a few clicks.

Inside the members area you can use tags to restrict access and only display certain content depending on what your members has bought from you in the past.

The biggest drawback with the membership funnel feature and ClickFunnels in general is the video hosting.

They don’t have any built in service for that, which means you have to host your videos elsewhere. This is really unfortunate to say the least and I would love if they added this in the future.

So, you now need a platform who can provide you with an embed code, like YouTube (free video hosting), Wistia, or Vimeo, and then add the video code to your funnel.

Courses with Kajabi

It doesn’t come as a surprise that Kajabi’s all-in-one platform is a favorite in the course creating community.

It supports all the tools you need, is simple to use, and is also intuitive and fast. All of this adds up to a platform where you can have your courses uploaded and ready to sell in just a few hours.

Kajabi has something called ‘Product Blueprints’, which means that you can create beautiful looking online course, mini course, membership site, drip course, or coaching program with just a few clicks.

Using these templates makes it easier for you to focus on the content creation in your course and get to the selling part faster.

This comes with a added bonus of being fully customizable, making it easy to adapt them to fit your brand. But if that doesn’t cut the mustad for you, you can always build up your digital product form scratch.

There is no limitation on how simple or advance you want your course to be on Kajabi. You can have audio courses, video training, email courses, etc. You can pretty much teach in the format you love the most.

The best part about Kajabi is that they include Wistia video hosting, vs ClickFunnels that relies heavily on 3rd party apps.

The bottom line: Kajabi is a no-brainer choice for courses creation vs ClickFunnels who falls a bit short in this department. But again, Kajabi was designed for online educators.

Split Testing Capabilities

Split testing, or A/B testing, is the method you use to test what variables works best on your webpage.

In short, split testing is like a sciences experiment. You have your base control, and then you duplicate it, change a few things and see how it performs against the control page.

With an A/B test you can easily determine what changes made the biggest difference. And most of the time the winner would be the one who generated the most sales or conversions.

Split testing and A/B testing means the same thing and can be used interchangeably. This is why you’ll see me use both when I’m talking about this.

Split testing in ClickFunnels

With split testing being such an important part of growing your business. It comes as no surprise that you need to know what images, copy, and funnel step produces the most conversions.

This is why ClickFunnels gives all their members the option to perform A/B tests no matter what plan you’re on.

Now you can be in total control over how well your funnels are performing.

All you need to do is choose the page you want to split test, create a variation, click on “start split test” and they’ll do the work for you.

You can even decide how much traffic you want to send to the split test page.

A cool thing you can do as the time progresses, is to hover over the “B” part of the test and see in percentage how big chance it has to outperform the original.

A/B testing with Kajabi

Kajabi has no built in feature for performing A/B tests. However, you can still do it by creating two versions of a page.

These two pages would then be sent out to your email list, or be linked to different social media campaigns.

From there you can then see and track open rates and conversions.

In my mind this is the most basic from of “split testing”, and it’s no where near as advanced as ClickFunnels.

If you want to perform a real A/B test with Kajabi, you’ll need to use tools like Google Optimize (free to use). Now you’d be able to experiment and test different variants of your pages to see how they perform.

Google Optimize is built on Google Analytics which can make starting using it easier since many already are familiar with Analytics and how it works.

However, it is an extra step to take and Kajabi didn’t win this fight vs ClickFunnels who already has this feature built into it.

Tracking and Analytics

Kajabi vs ClickFunnels analytics and tracking capabilities

How are your sales funnel or membership performing?

When looking at Kajabi vs ClickFunnels reporting dashboard, you can quickly see that they are very similar.

Both provides easy access to every metric of you funnel, website, or membership. It’s clear that they have understood the importance of good data and how much it matters to your business.

For good reason, knowing your analytics helps you understand what the market wants and how to optimize your business for even higher conversions rates.

Between the two you can see things like…

  • Opt-ins
  • Page views
  • Sales
  • Subscription metrics
  • Offers sold
  • and more…

Email Marketing and Automations

We all know that automated emails are an important part of any successful sales funnel. Personally I love automations, since it helps me to build a more hands off business.

Both Kajabi and ClickFunnels have high-quality email marketing systems built in.

Kajabi starts off strong with its versatile and easy to use email marketing tool. In fact there are many that states that it completely replaces the need for any other email tools.

And if you want to merge you current list to Kajabi, they’ll guide you through that process too. Once you have your list ready, you can go ahead and create professional emails, drip campaigns, and automations with ease.

This makes their email marketing tool a great place to start if you don’t already have a email list elsewhere.

ClickFunnels also has a built in email marketing tool called ‘Follow-up Funnels’, which replaces the need for 3rd party integrations. From there you can build automatic email sequences right inside your ClickFunnels account.

You also get access to all the normal automation stuff like: list building, tag management, smart lists, segmentations, etc. which makes the ‘Follow-up Funnel’ feature a powerful tool to have.

The biggest difference is that ClickFunnels tool is a bit more complicated and also requires an SMTP to function properly.

Who has the advantage?

I’m going to be honest here and say that Kajabi has the advantage here.

Why?

The first thing I see right away is that Kajabi has email management on all plans vs ClickFunnels that doesn’t. To use the ‘Follow-up Funnel’ feature you’ll have to upgrade to the $297 ‘Platinum’ plan and get an SMTP.

This begs the question, is it worth the extra $200 for the email marketing system alone?

In my mind, no. Not if you only want the email automation capabilities. There are other tools that are just as good that can be integrated instead.

The second one is that, in my humble opinion, I believe that ‘Follow-up Funnels’ lacks some of the things you would like to see from a email marketing and automation tool. This was why I switched to ActiveCampaign, which is a true email automation software.

Sure there are some things that goes out the window when using a 3rd-party app like ActiveCampaign…

The main one is not being able to do automations on funnel steps as easy. It can be done, it just takes a bit of fiddling and a lot of testing – don’t ask me how I know that 😉

Domain Hosting

There is no surprise that any business with the intention of staying in business needs a domain.

Both ClickFunnels and Kajabi offers domain hosting, so you don’t have to host it elsewhere if you don’t want to.

If you however want to have multiples business under your account with different brand names, ClickFunnels has a slight advantage vs Kajabi.

In Kajabi you’ll need to upgrade to a ‘Pro’ plan to unlock the potential to have multiple custom domains under one account. Otherwise you are limited to one custom domain.

While in ClickFunnels you can have up to three custom domains on the ‘Standard’ plan, and as many as nine on the ‘Platinum’ plan.

If you already have a domain, you can easily connect it to either ClickFunnels or Kajabi using DNS records and CNAME for instance.

This also opens up the door for adding multiple sub-domain. And as far as I know, there are no limitations in how many sub-domains you can have on either platforms.

Shopping Cart and Product Management

product management in ClickFunnels vs Kajabi

Managing your shopping cart in an easy way is key if you are in e-commerce for example.

With ClickFunnels you get all the features you need to manage shopping carts, products and payments baked into the funnel builder.

There you can do thing like:

  • Set pricing
  • Handel shipping
  • Create subscription payment plans
  • Upsells
  • One-click upsells
  • Downsells
  • Order bumps
  • and more…

Everything you can possibly need to manage and sell your product can be found within the editor.

And the best part, you can host unlimited amounts of products, making it ideal for e-commerce. The biggest difference compared to Kajabi is that they don’t support the use of coupons.

Kajabi also has a powerful sales engine built in that allows you to sell your product in any way you like.

Here you can offer:

  • Free trail
  • Create subscriptions
  • Integrate coupons
  • One-click upsells
  • and more…

The biggest disadvantage Kajabi has vs ClickFunnels is the product limitations.

On the ‘Basic’ plan you can only host 3 products which can be a limitation if you are in the e-commerce space.

To get somewhat of a decent product range you’ll need the ‘Growth’ plan with 15 products. If you have any more than that, you’ll need a ‘Pro’ plan with up to 100 products supported.

ClickFunnels however, really stand out with its unlimited product hosting. So if you have many products, ClickFunnels is the way to go.

Integrations

ClickFunnels vs Kajabi integrations

Since ClickFunnels isn’t solely focused on the course creator, it supports an almost ridiculous amount of integrations.

I stopped counting the integrations ClickFunnels support when I got to 40. This includes Avalara, PayPal V2, Stripe, Drip, ActiveCampaign, Kajabi, Shipstation, HubSpot, and many many more.

With this many integrations available, it’s easy for you to keep on using the 3rd-party apps you already use and love.

Kajabi with its focus on the course creator doesn’t support nearly as many. However it does integrate with most of the popular tools out there.

With Kajabi you can integrate with:

  • Aweber
  • Mailchimp
  • Drip
  • ConvertKit
  • ActiveCampaign
  • Segment
  • Google Analytics
  • Facebook

So, as you can see, the amount of supported integrations within Kajabi isn’t nearly as extensive as in ClickFunnels.

However, if you use a 3rd-party app that isn’t supported, you can use a tool like Zapier to add it.

With Zapier you can integrate almost any app with both Kajabi and ClickFunnels.

As an example, here are some of the tools you can integrate with Kajabi using Zapier.

  • ClickFunnels
  • Infusionsoft
  • Shopify
  • PayPal
  • Stripe

Affiliates

ClickFunnels and Kajabi allows you to create referral programs allowing your customers to promote your products and services.

With Kajabi, you only unlock the affiliate management feature when you enter the ‘Growth’ or higher plans.

The positive things is that, unlike the Kajabi Partner Program, your affiliates don’t need to be members of your site to become an affiliate and start selling. This allows you to have an unlimited amount of affiliates.

From the Kajabi’s affiliate dashboard you can:

  • Manage accounts and affiliate registrations
  • Set up an affiliate marketing system based on share links
  • Track affiliate conversions and form submissions
  • Automatically calculate affiliate earnings
  • Create detailed affiliate reports.

ClickFunnels have something called ‘Backpack’. This is a feature within their software for hosting and managing your own affiliate programs.

The downside is that it’s only available on the ‘Platinum’ plan.

Since ClickFunnels ‘Backpack’ is a pretty advanced affiliate tool, you get a lot of feature because of that, and here are some:

  • Run contests for affiliates
  • Manage commission plans
  • Create two-tier commission plans
  • Rewarding
  • Review commissions
  • Easy 1-click setups
  • Fully customizable and branded affiliate area
  • Leaderboards
  • “Mass” payments
  • and much more…

The learning curve can be steep on ‘Backpack’ since it’s a more advanced tool. However, it can be something well worth learning if you are planning on relying heavily on affiliates as a marketing strategy.

What about being an affiliate yourself?

Sometimes, you don’t want to host an affiliate program, but rather be the affiliate yourself.

Since I am an affiliate myself for multiple companies, I totally understand if you want to go down this path. There is nothing wrong with recommending someone else a product that you already use and love. And to get a little piece of the profit for doing so…even better.

In the case with ClickFunnels vs Kajabi, one has more of an advantage than the other.

ClickFunnels has their own affiliate program from where you can promote their entire product range. Everything from cheaper books to expensive courses, they cover the lot with good commission as well.

The best part about ClickFunnels affiliate program, except for the commission, is that you don’t have to be a member to promote it. You can simply be an affiliate who wants to help them in their marketing efforts.

Herein lies the biggest disadvantage for Kajabi…

To use Kajabi’s affiliate program, you’ll have to first become a user of the software, then you get access to the affiliate center.

This pretty much rules out anyone that is an affiliate and wants to help them with their marketing.

Now, one could argue and say that the quality of the affiliates will be higher since all of the affiliate are also users…

Sure that is a valid statement. Yet I still feel like it would be better for new affiliate go go through an application process instead. Many other more exclusive affiliate programs use this method to approve their affiliate, therefor keeping the quality high.

Support

Sometime you hit an obstacle that seems impossible to get by without the help of an expert. It happens even to the best of us.

Luckily for you, ClickFunnels and Kajabi works hard on trying to give you the best support possible.

If we look at the simplest plans ClickFunnels ‘Standard’ and Kajabi ‘basic’, we can see that both have the same chat support system. No priority of any kind, so support here can be a slow process. A timeframe of up to 48 hours is not unusual at all.

So if you need faster support, you need to take a step up in plans to Kajabi ‘Growth’ or ClickFunnels ‘Platinum’.

On Kajabi you have now entered the world of 24/7 chat support. This will significantly drop the response time on your support errands.

With ClickFunnels it’s pretty much the same thing, now you get priority support and another thing you’ll get access to is also the priority template request.

So not only will you get to skip ahead in the support line, you can also request to get a custom funnel template.

But overall, you get good support from both IF you go with the more expensive plans. If you are more interested in the cheaper plans, expect a bit of waiting time on support errands.

Education and training

Kajabi university vs ClickFunnels funnelflix

Both ClickFunnels and Kajabi provides industry leading education and training.

ClickFunnels has ‘FunnelFlix’ which is their Netflix style platform for education.

In there you’ll find hours and hours of training and education on things like: sales funnels, traffic, business management, marketing, etc.

If you decide to get on a ‘Standard’ plan, then you get access to a limited range of courses and some of the included are:

  • 30-Day Summit
  • 5-Day Lead Challenge
  • Funnel Builder Secrets
  • AdSkills
  • Product Secrets
  • And many more…

But if you step it up a notch and go with the ‘Platinum’ plan you unlock the full range of education and training courses. This adds 20+ trainings to the things you’ve already unlocked in the ‘Standard’ plan.

Then, for those accepted into the ‘2CCX’ plan, you’ll unlock even more advanced training.

This should keep you busy learning for a while to say the least.

Kajabi has something called ‘Kajabi University’ which is included in every plan.

This is your A-Z resource for everything Kajabi and probably all the training you’ll need for your digital business.

With this you get access to many hours of courses covering topics like: websites, products, list building, marketing, etc.

You can also sort the training depending on if you are a beginner, intermediate, advanced, or an expert. Making it easy for you to get the training that suites you.

Here is some of the things you can learn in Kajabi university:

  • Coaching Basics

  • Legal Basics
  • Marketing Graduation
  • And much more…

Final Verdict

Kajabi is for you who are a course creators and are looking for a reliable system to get your knowledge out into the world. It’s an all-in-one platform and perfect if you are striving to build a business using courses and memberships.

ClickFunnels, although not a course creator, is for you who wants to grow your business with sales funnels, but also wants the option to do courses and memberships.

So, what do I think…

Because it has tons of features, solid education, and more room to branch out into different areas, I have to go with ClickFunnels. The lower up front cost for the basic plans is also appealing if you are on a “slim budget” and still wants a place to host your business on.

Also, with them you don’t lock yourself down to one thing. Sell your own product, start a membership, become a funnel builder, etc. With ClickFunnels you have the option to try it all, since they have it all under one roof.

This is also why their platform is such a great choice for beginners.
