The great thing here is that when you pause your account, you keep all of your data, all of your contacts, every funnel that you’ve build and all the settings and integrations you’ve made.
This however comes with a drawback…
When you pause your ClickFunnels account, you can no longer access your account and all the tools inside.
So the good thing here is that you get to keep all your information. The bad thing is that your funnels won’t be live for the public to visit, so you won’t have any traffic going through them.
Yes, when I wrote this, I was also considering the fact that you could build a funnel, then pause the account and still have traffic going through it. Making it a list building hack.
But that will not work…sorry.
How Do I Put My ClickFunnels Account on Hold
Okay, times are really bad and you’ve mede the decision to put your ClickFunnels account on hold for a while.
Let’s go over the 5 things you need to do step-by-step.
Here we go:
First, log in to your ClickFunnels account, then go to the Account Settings.
Next, select Account Billing from the menu.
From there you need to head straight to the Cancel Account tab.
Now it get a bit scary, I get a bit sweaty just by demoing this from you (don’t want to accidently cancel my account).
But you’ll have to click on the Cancel My Subscription button.
From there, select Pause Your Plan.
Once you’ve done this your subscription will be paused. Now you will only be charged $9.99 per month instead of $97 or $297. All of your subdomains, pages, customers, leads and funnels will be available again when you are ready to upgrade to an active ClickFunnels plan.
How to Unpause My ClickFunnels Account
The bad times are over and you want to get back out there and start building funnels again.
And since you did the smart thing and paused your ClickFunnels account, all you have to do now is to reactivate it.
Luckily for you this is super easy to do.
To reactivate your account, simply login as you normally would and select the subscription plan you want. Your default card on file will be charged immediately in advance for the first month on that subscription plan.
Could not be simpler.
Change Your ClickFunnels Plan
Speaking of freedom, another feature that ClickFunnels has is the ability to change subscription plan on the fly.
This means that if you want to change from a Basic to a Platinum plan you can do so.
Something that you might want to do if out are looking to cut the monthly costs.
And the same goes the other way around.
So if you are on a Basic plan and feel like you want to expand with more features, you can do so with just a few clicks.
Switch around, get the plan that suites you the best.
And here’s how:
First, sign into your ClickFunnels account, go to the Account Settings and select Account Billing.
Next, scroll down and click on Choose a different plan.
From there, select the plan you would like to upgrade or downgrade to. You will be billed accordingly to the plan you select.

That’s a small price to pay considering that all your data, funnels and contacts are kept in place and stored. Which means that once you are ready to get back on the horse, everything is there waiting for you just like it was when you left it.
